We went out on the streets of Udine and asked the citizens about what kind of pro-ecological solutions they used to better our planet and these are our results:
What envoirmental problems does the Friuli region have?
Most people answered that air polution is the most common problem in udine. People also noticed that a lot of the city is polluted by trash someone also answered that they experienced a lot of noise pollution, ans also sugessted teaching about envoirmental problems in schools.
Do you use energy saving devices?
Udine citizens usually use some type of high-class enlectronic devices. A lot of poeple also chose LED bulbs.
Do you think that limiting the number of cars entering the city centre is a good solution in Udine?
Most of the interviewees answered that its a good solution although they think that most people won’t like this answer because its inconvienient.
What technical solutions do you consider most effective in terms of enviromental protection?
Most of the people said that using more renewable resources like solar system energy, wind power, someone suggested that using nuclear power will also be beneficial. The topic of increasing public transport is still mentioned a lot, its the most common answer it is what most people deem as most important.
What should be improved regarding envoirmental protection in your city?
Participants answered that enlarging the number of public transports will be most efficient, but they have also mentioned repairing electronic devices, creating more green areas, installing more photovoltaic panels as well as buying more local products from farmers.
What are the city authorities doing to protect the enviroment?
The authorities have strongly promoted bicycle use as well as public transport, they have done many green area projects but most importantly they have many more plans for the future.
